Every child should have a caring adult in their lives. And that's not always a biological parent or family member. It may be a friend or neighbor. Often times it is a teacher.

As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live.

Fathers should be neither seen nor heard. That is the only proper basis for family life.

He that raises a large family does, indeed, while he lives to observe them, stand a broader mark for sorrow but then he stands a broader mark for pleasure too.

Any problem, big or small, within a family, always seems to start with bad communication. Someone isn't listening.
